Jon Papernick is the author of three works of fiction: The Ascent of Eli Israel, Who by Fire, Who by Blood, and There Is No Other (Spring 2010). His fiction has appeared in Confrontation, The Reading Room, Night Train Magazine, Exile Quarterly, Nerve, Zeek, and the anthologies Lost Tribe: Jewish Fiction from the Edge and Scribblers on the Roof.
He is currently reworking his second novel, Sharpy, about a con-man who sells the Brooklyn Bridge to an Iraq war widow.
