Ellen Howards is the Editor in Chief of Art New England, the premiere regional fine art magazine, now in its 30th year of publication. Before that, she was Associate Editor at artsMEDIA Magazine.
She has written features, profiles, reviews and general assignment news for local and national newspapers and magazines. Earlier, she worked as an Admissions admimistrator at John Cabot Universaity in Rome, Italy; and in Study Abroad at Boston University. She loves language.

Michelle Bailat-Jones (MFA '05)
won the inaugral Christopher Doheny award for her novel Fog Island Mountains. The award recognizes a book-lenth work of fiction or nonfiction exploring the experience of serious illness and includes a $10,000 prize as well as publication and promotion of the book in print and audio editions.
