John Krivit

John Krivit is a producer, engineer, performer, composer and educator. He was the owner of The Sound Market Recording Studio from 1988-1998, where he produced hundreds of sessions for television, radio, multimedia and CD release, including soundtrack work for "Judging Amy" (CBSTV), "General Hospital" (ABC TV), "Witness to the Mob" (NBC TV), and "Closing The Loop" (WMAR TV 2, WRC TV 4).
He is an Associate Professor of Audio & Media Technology at The New England Institute of Art, where in 2002 he was honored with both the Inabeth Miller Distinguished Faculty Award for Outstanding Teaching and the Norm Prescott Teaching Award. John is a Governor of the Audio Engineering Society and serves as the organization's Education Committee Chair.
