The battle between the Evangelical Church and the Gay movement in America or LGBT all started in Hawaii. Both of these diverse groups are actually searching for their true identity. Yet they both share the same hopes, the same desires and want their own piece of the American Dream. They both simply want to be heard, affirmed and become a part of mainstream American culture.

We explore the hard facts behind what's driving the civil unions and same sex movement across America, who is involved and why they believe what they believe. We take a fair and impartial look at each of the components involved in the proposed civil unions law, how they might affect Hawaii. Along the way, we meet the many people and factions that are for or against a same sex union law and hear why they have taken the stance they do.
