Performing Arts Faculty
Laurie Bramhall grew up in the Boston area and graduated with an MFA in Costume Design and Construction from Boston University.
Her work in theater includes freelance costume designing at New Rep, Guthrie Theater, Darmouth College, Anna Myers Dance Company, and Boston University Opera Theater. She spent seven years at the Guthrie Theater as a Costume Design Assistant working with some of the top theatrical designers in the country.
Her teaching credits also include Tufts University and Brandeis University in both costume construction and design and a visiting artist position at Dartmouth College.
For the past 15 years, Laurie has been very active in the feature film scene in New England working as a Key Costumer, Tailor / Stitcher and a Background Costumer. Her film credits are featured on IMDB.
She is the Costume Department Craft Representative for IATSE 481 and is a member of Unites Scenic Artist 829.
