Karl likes to tell people that he, "Creates real economic stimulus by helping young entrepreneurs start new businesses." Truth is, he does! During Karl's nearly 10 years at Emerson he has helped hundreds of student ventures take shape through the popular E3 Entrepreneurial Studies Program, and the Business Studies Program.

Karl Baehr is the architect of Business Education at Emerson, and Managing Director of new-venture development firm InterTerra NMG. An active entrepreneur, and educator, Karl's 10+ years of academic program development, and administration is grounded in nearly 30 years of entrepreneurship, and corporate leadership in the media, and technology spaces.

Karl has been recognized as a Top Professor of Entrepreneurship by Fortune Magazine for his work as Director of Business & Entrepreneurial Studies at Emerson College. His innovative work, and that of his students, has been featured in many major media including: CNN, NBC, USA Today, The WSJ, and Boston Globe, Inc., Entrepreneur, ADWEEK, and Billboard Mags, the Travel Channel, YouTube, and  the Food Network!
