Marketing Communication Faculty

Jeffrey Myers

Part Time Faculty (2012)
B.S. Northwestern University, M.B.A. University of Connecticut

Students in Jeff's classes are exposed to and benefit from his years of experience and success in advertising, consumer and trade promotion, brand management, public and media relations, event management, and creativity.

Theory is blended and served up seamlessly with knowledge gained from decades in the trenches of some of the world's most well known brands. His perspective is developed from being at the vanguard of the Cola Wars, Burger Wars and Snack Wars among many other skirmishes (he's really a pacifist!).

He has helped launch and relaunch businesses small and large for a wide range of products and services. With a deep appreciation for what it takes to turn a clean sheet of paper into an idea and an idea into a brilliant execution, students gain a holistic view of what it means to contribute to the long-term well being of a brand—and how "everything communicates."

His classes consistently praise and appreciate his knowledge, patience, humor and unending support.
