Thomas Vogel

Thomas Vogel is a specialist in strategic communication on the internet, online usability and branding on the internet. He has been a Professor of Media Design at the Department of Media Management at the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden, Germany where he served as the Founding Dean from 1993 - 1999.

He is an active public speaker, panelist, consultant, and is involved in special projects for internet, advertising and multimedia. His current research focuses on the strategic design and usability aspects of interactive media, developing efficient experience design and online communication. He is also a founding partner of mediaman, a German based communications agency specializing in integrated communication and advertising with a special focus on interactive communication. Formerly he has worked as Art Director and Creative Director in New York City at Grey Advertising, Lois GGK, J. Walter Thompson and Communication House.
