Jodi's approach to Communication Studies comes from a background in Speech and Rhetoric. Course competencies include Speech Communication, Debate, Professional Communication and Negotiation Skills.
Jodi was honored with the award of Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year in 2004, and has since been a nominee on several occasions.
Competitive Speech and Debate are truly her passion. She has been Assistant Director of a local Forensics program for many years.
A Massachusetts native, she enjoys life in the suburbs with her husband and two children.

Faculty News
Dr. Angela N. Hosek and her colleague Dr. Rebecca DiVerniero received the Top Paper Award (out of 155 papers submitted) for their project titled, "Twitter as a Classroom Tool: Exploring the Use, Benefits, and Downfalls from the Perspectives of Instructors and Students," from the Human Communication and Technology Division. Dr. Hosek was also on the Top Panel for the Basic Course Division. Both took place at the National Communication Association Annual Meeting in November.
