Robb Eason

Robb Eason's research interests include Epistemology and The Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Technology, The Philosophy of Science, The History of Philosophy, and Neuroethics.
He has written a chapter for a book on the philosophy of technology called Chasing Technoscience, and has published articles in the Philosophy of Science and the History of Philosophy. He also co-edited and contributed to a volume of the journal Philosophy and Social Research, focusing on the work of the American philosopher, Robert Brandom. He is currently completing his PhD from Stony Brook.

Faculty News
Dr. Linda Gallant has accepted an international research fellowship with Mobile Studies, which focuses on the global study of mobile media and communication across cultures and countries. Mobile Studies advances an interdisciplinary approach among mobile media and communication scholars. A goal is also to facilitate research and knowledge between academic researchers and “key players in the mobile industry.” Dr. Gallant will conduct research with the institute to be published in Mobile Yearbook 2014 and presented at its 2014 annual conference.
