Dr. Christine Skubisz is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication. Her research takes an empirical approach to the study of message design and effects. This includes the testing and evaluation of theoretically important message features and advancing communication theory. A consistent thread throughout her research is the question of how to present quantitative risk information to facilitate comprehension and use. Her research is published in Communication Yearbook, Health Communication, the Journal of Cancer Education, the Journal of Health Communication, and Communication Monographs.
