Emerson College Archives
The Emerson College Archives are part of the library, and are open to students, faculty, alumni, staff, and the public by appointment only. You can browse our extensive American Comedy Archives, learn more about the history of Emerson, or view the materials in our Special Collections.
What is an archive?
An archive is a repository of permanent institutional records and other non-institutional historic materials related to the curriculum of the College. At Emerson College, these include items such as minutes of Board of Trustees meetings, blueprints of campus buildings, historic photographs, special collections, and much more.
Unlike a library, most of the material in an archive is unique and irreplaceable. For this reason, materials do not circulate like a library collection and can only be accessed by appointment. To learn more about the archives or to make an appointment, contact Christina Zamon at 617-824-8679 or christina_zamon@emerson.edu.
