A reference guide to assist international students by Cathryn Cushner Edelstein, a Communication Studies faculty member, recently received honors in two book festivals.
Fran Kelly, vice chairman of the Boston-based global advertising agency Arnold Worldwide, spoke to Emerson graduate students November 8, sharing insights into the advertising world.
Emerson President Lee Pelton released his annual State of the College address to the Emerson community on October 31.
Members of Emerson's Board of Overseers joined Kevin Bright '76, senior executive director of Emerson College Los Angeles, in a discussion October 24 about the rapid rise of digital distribution with services like Netflix and Hulu.
Parents got a slice of Emerson this past weekend, October 18-20, during the College’s annual Family Weekend. Families attended mini-college sessions, workshops, a Talent Showcase, and the President’s Breakfast.
Emerson is welcoming 15 new full-time faculty members across various departments to begin the 2013-14 academic year. “These new faculty members are experts in their fields and will be an integral part of Emerson’s future,” said Michaele Whelan, chief academic officer.
Numerous Emerson faculty members were recognized September 3 for significant years of service to the College, including Ted Hollingworth of Communication Studies, who has worked at Emerson since 1963.
Meagan Fuller, MA '16, is competing in the Miss National Sweetheart Pageant.
