Advanced Placement

AP test scores of 4 or 5 will receive four credits in the areas of the exam (examples noted below). No more than 32 credits of Advanced Placement, CLEP, or other college-level examinations combined are accepted by Emerson College. Official score reports must be submitted to the College; duplicate copies will not be accepted.

The following is a partial list of common AP exams and the Emerson General Education equivalencies.

NOTE: A score of 4 or 5 on the English Language exam will receive 4 elective credits in writing; it will not fulfill the college writing General Education requirement.
