The Faculty Advancement Fund Grant (FAFG)
Proposals Due November 1, 2008
The Faculty Advancement Fund Grant (FAFG) was established to reward and enable the professional work of Emerson College faculty in its efforts to sustain academic excellence in teaching, research/creative activity, and service.
The Faculty Advancement Fund Grant is to be used to support meritorious proposals deemed likely to improve substantially the quality of teaching or curricula of courses, research/publication/creative activities, and service that contributes to advancing the mission of the College.
All tenured and tenure track members of the full-time faculty are eligible to apply. Applications are due to your school Dean by November 1. Past recipients of an FAFG must submit a report on their funded projects to the Office of Academic Affairs by November 1 to be eligible for consideration. Approved projects will be conducted between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010.
The Deans and a faculty committee review the proposals and makes recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for project awards. Faculty members will be notified by February 1, 2009 on the status of their applications.
The current Guidelines and forms may be updated and modified for the November 1, 2008 deadline. Please check this site again for any announcement.
