Office of Student Employment
Supervisors work out their student employment budgets each year.
Students may be hired to work on campus through Federal Work Study (FWS) or Emerson Employment (EE). FWS jobs are strictly reserved for students who receive FWS as part of their financial assistance package, and are funded by the College and the federal government. Emerson Employment jobs are fully funded by the College's individual departments and are not associated with financial need or financial assistance in any way.
The Student Employment Coordinator can help supervisors work out their student employment budgets each year to ensure departments do not hire too many students or go over budget.
