Shelley Lipschultz is a teacher, clinician, and administrator. Her clinical interests range from speech and language disorders in young children to voice disorders in adults. She has developed videotapes and test protocols for the informal assessment of cognitive and language abilities of young children, developmentally delayed adults, and nonspeaking persons.
Lipschultz, along with her colleagues, has presented at annual conventions of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association on models of supervision and clinical education. She has prepared in-service training materials for assessment of young children's language skills and the evaluation of non-speaking, physically-challenged individuals.
As the undergraduate program coordinator for Communication Sciences and Disorders, Lipschultz assists with student advising processes and curriculum development. At the graduate level, Lipschultz supervises student clinicians in the Robbins Speech, Language and Hearing Center.
