Jared's had an exciting and varied career in the media arts. As an award-winning writer, director, and producer, he won the Best Picture Producer award at the 2009 Bare Bones Film and Music Arts Festival and has been a quarter-finalist in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay and Teleplay Competition and the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest.
His work has appeared on MTV Networks/Nickelodeon as a promotions writer/producer from 2002-2003.
His short film work was featured in the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival through Amazon Theater. His other festival official selections include the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival, Atlanta Underground Film Festival, Silicon Valley Film Festival, Glen Rose Neo-Relix Film Festival, Garden State Film Festival, Kent Film Festival, and the New York Magazine First Run Film Festival.
He runs Cambridge Screenwriters, the largest established screenwriting group in New England.
His blog, "A Bad Case of the Dates," has been featured on the BBC, the Huffington Post, and the Washington Post.
His photography and web series work has appeared in USA Today and the New York Times political blog.
He has performed background acting work in The Judge, Black Mass, and Irrational Man.
