Information Technology hires a large staff of students to support the hundreds of computers, printers, and peripherals in the college and its computer labs. Extensive technological knowledge is not required, but the ability to learn quickly is essential. We regularly have multiple openings for two different positions: Lab Assistant and Help Desk Technician.

Lab assistants provide general assistance to computer lab users, including answering questions, performing daily operational duties, and assisting in troubleshooting problems.
Qualified applicants have excellent customer service skills, an interest in technology, and a willingness to learn. Rudimentary-to-moderate knowledge of Macintosh and Windows operating systems is preferred. Training is provided.
Help Desk Technician
I.T. Help Desk technicians provide general assistance to users of the Information Technology Help Desk, including answering phones, troubleshooting computer and network connectivity issues, and supporting computer labs.
Qualified applicants have excellent customer service skills, an interest in technology, and a willingness to learn. Knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems, familiarity with desktop functions, basic knowledge of common applications, web applications, and networking are all preferred. Familiarity with graphic and/or multimedia applications is desirable. Training is provided.
