Human Resources Advisory Council Subcommittees
Subcommittee Membership
Subcommittee members are selected by the HR Advisory Council. The intent is to create significant opportunity for rotation and participation at all levels of the College. Participation in the Subcommittee is a minimum one-year commitment.
Total Rewards Subcommittee
The Total Rewards Subcommittee will address issues that are related to Compensation, Benefits and Employee Health and Wellness Programs. The Subcommittee will not be tasked with the development of policy or decision making, but will provide feedback and input that reflects the diverse impacts of Emerson’s Community. All recommendations will be subject to management oversight and approval. The Subcommittee will have its initial kick-off meeting in late January or early February of 2013 and will meet monthly, with a plan to move to quarterly meetings by July 1, 2013. The Subcommittee chair is the Director of Total Rewards.

Learning and Development Subcommittee
The Learning and Development Subcommittee will address the topic of learning and development for Emerson staff. The Subcommittee will not be tasked with the development of policy or decision making, but will provide feedback and input that reflects the diverse perspectives of the Emerson community. All recommendation will be subject to management oversight and approval. The Subcommittee will begin meeting in February of 2013. The Subcommittee chair is the Director of Staff and Organizational Development.

Emerson broke ground on its new facility in LA on March 8.
Los Angeles Center
Emerson College recently began constructing a new facility in Los Angeles, which will open in January 2014. As we get closer, we anticipate posting new positions related to our expanded presence in Los Angeles. Further information will be available when Job Opportunities are posted.
