Manager and Supervisor Workshop:  Employment Policies and Performance Management

This workshop is being offered to :

• Provide managers and supervisors with an overview of key statutes and regulations related to supervising employees;
• Provide guidance on how Emerson’s workplace policies help ensure compliance with federal requirements;
• Assist managers and supervisors in understanding their role in the FY12 Performance Management process. During the session there will be a review of the information managers need to consider in evaluating employee performance, a discussion of the key dates around the performance management and merit increase cycles, and an overview of how to log onto the job evaluation system and to complete the job evaluation form.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is designed for staff employees who manage or supervise other staff employees.

Meeting Location

All sessions will be conducted in Training Room 229, located on the second floor of the State Transportation Building at 8 Park Plaza. Training Room 229 is adjacent to the Office of Human Resources.
