Dental Insurance College pays 100% for individual. Member pays difference for family coverage. 1st of the month after date of hire Diagnostic, preventive, restorative & orthodontic services with varying rates of coverage through Delta Dental of Mass
Short Term Disability College pays 100% After six months Following 2 weeks of disability the College continues to pay 100% of salary up to 180 calendar days in any 24-month period
Long Term Disability College pays 100% After six months Following six months of disability, a monthly income of 60% base salary up to insurance certificate maximum. Duration based on age at disability
Group Life Insurance College pays 100% After one year Life insurance equal twice base annual salary to a maximum of $700,000
403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity Plan 100% voluntary Upon Employment Faculty member may contribute on a pre-tax basis to FIDELITY, TIAA-CREF, or  VALIC
Retirement Plans College contributes 9% of salary
Member contributes 3% of salary
After one year 403(b) annuity plan Faculty member must (condition of employment) contribute on a pre-tax basis to FIDELITY, TIAA-CREF or VALIC
Workers’ Compensation College pays 100% Upon Employment Compensation for on-the- job injury or death
Social Security College pays 7.65% of salary
Member pays 7.65% of salary
Upon Employment Retirement income, survivor benefit, disability insurance, Medicare

Tuition Benefit for for member’s child at Emerson College College pays 100% After two years If accepted into Emerson College, full tuition for any of the degree programs
Tuition Benefit for for member’s child at at other colleges College pays $2,000 After two years Emerson pays toward tuition at another accredited college
Tuition Scholarship for member’s child through Tuition Exchange 0 After two years may apply for scholarship If awarded a TE Scholarship, child may attend participating  institution with free or reduced tuition

Members, their spouses, dependents and Domestic Partners are responsible for any tax consequences resulting from benefits received by them from the College. (i.e. graduate courses)
