Connecting To ECwireless With Your iPhone
Getting your iPhone onto ECwireless almost couldn’t be easier.
This guide is written for iOS 4.x, but the process will be the same for earlier devices. You can check your software version by tapping on Settings from the Home Screen > General > About, and looking under Version.
1. From the Home Screen tap on the Settings app.
In Settings, tap WiFi.
2. Wait for the list of available wireless networks to populate, and then tap on ECwireless.
You will be prompted for your ECnet username and password. Enter them in the appropriate fields. Then tap Join.
3. After a moment, you will be prompted with a certificate file. This will come from an emerson.edu server! Tap Accept.
That's it! After another moment, a check mark will appear next to "ECwireless" and the WiFi symbol will appear in your status bar.
