Services We Offer

Our services are free for all Emerson departments and offices. If you want to work with us to improve your website, read our Process page and fill out a form to get started. Once we have your information, we'll contact you to schedule a meeting. Timelines will vary depending on the scheduling of meetings, how quickly you can develop your content, and the size and scope of your project.

Website Projects

Any department in need of new web pages, content, advanced technical features, or design can fill out a project request form. Web Services will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the project and arrange an initial meeting.

Webpage Maintenance & Editing

Your department is responsible for updating and maintaining the content on your site (e.g., editing text, photos, calendar, news items, etc.). Each department and office at Emerson has at least one staff member who has access to Drupal, our content management system, and can edit departmental webpages. Please contact your department's Drupal user and/or refer to our Drupal editing manual for information on updating your website. If you are not trained in Drupal and would like to learn how to use it, please contact Matthew Bailey at matthew_bailey@emerson.edu to arrange a training session.

Photos & Videos

We will ask you to provide the photos and videos for your section. We can provide student photographers and potentially videographers (depending on the projects demands and purpose). Please follow our Photo Guidelines and Video Guidelines before beginning the production process. Contact Deb Falzoi debra_falzoi@emerson.edu to schedule

For any video production/editing that we cannot accommodate, contact TRF (Television, Radio, Film).

Social Media (Facebook, Twitter & Blogs)

Facebook, Twitter and departmental blogs are created and maintained by Web Services. If your department needs any of these platforms created or adjusted, fill out the social media form.

Services Provided by Other Offices

Personal & Student Organization Websites

Employees, individual students and student organizations can use pages.emerson.edu to create personal and organizational websites. Contact Information Technology to set up a page.

Course Blogs & Websites

Faculty should contact the Instructional Technology Group (ITG) who will assist you in developing a blog or website for your course. ITG manages the Wordpress system, which faculty may use. ITG also manages our installation of mediawiki.

eCommon & Directory Help

eCommon is managed by Information Technology. Contact the IT Help Desk for assistance. If you need to make a correction to the Emerson College directory, use the directory Feedback form.
