Services We Offer

Our services are free for all Emerson departments and offices.

Website Projects

Any department in need of new web pages, content, advanced technical features, or design can fill out a Project Request Form. Web Services will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the project and arrange an initial meeting.

Webpage Maintenance & Editing

Your department is responsible for updating and maintaining the content on your site (e.g., editing text, photos, calendar, news items, etc.). Each department and office at Emerson should have at least one staff member who has access to Drupal, our content management system, and can edit departmental webpages.

Please contact your department's Drupal user and/or refer to our Drupal editing manual for information on updating your website. If you are not trained in Drupal and would like to learn how to use it, please contact Nicole Leete at to arrange a training session.

Photos & Videos

We will ask you to provide the photos and videos for your section. We can provide student photographers and potentially videographers (depending on the projects demands and purpose). Please follow our Photo Guidelines and Video Guidelines before beginning the production process. For help with photos or videos, please contact

Course Blogs & Websites

Faculty should contact the Instructional Technology Group (ITG) who will assist you in developing a blog or website for your course.  ITG also manages our installation of mediawiki.

eCommon & Directory Help
