Web Services Process

Web Services manages the development, creation, and maintenance of the College’s websites and web pages. We work directly with departments and offices to develop innovative design and technical solutions to address their audience’s needs.

Initiating a Project

Any department in need of new web pages, content, advanced technical features, or design can fill out a request form. Web Services will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the project and arrange an initial meeting.

Project Schedules

The first meeting will be a “discovery” discussion to establish the department’s needs, project objectives, and goals. Following the initial meeting, Web Services will devise a production schedule and project proposal, which will be sent to your department for approval. The document will include:

  • a brief description of the project and its purpose
  • an outline of the work to be performed
  • a list of any content needs, which your department may be asked to develop
  • estimated start and completion dates

Submitting Content

Throughout the process, departments may be responsible for developing written and multimedia content. All copy should be submitted in a single MS Word document.

All multimedia files should be submitted to Web Services at for formatting and editing.

Post-Project Review

We are always happy to receive feedback about your project or our process. After the launch of your site, we will contact you within two to four weeks to schedule a brief review and address any concerns you might have.
