The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) was founded to promote innovative teaching for enhanced student learning. We also direct Emerson’s assessment of student learning. We value innovation, take a developmental approach, and maintain confidentiality.
The CITL’s mission is to enable student learning by providing the faculty with professional development opportunities in teaching, by promoting academic support programming for student learning, and by providing guidance and mechanisms for garnering evidence of student learning for accountabilities and improvements.
The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) seeks a full time faculty member and two adjunct faculty members to serve as Instructional Development Ambassadors and a full-time faculty member to serve as a Student Learning Ambassador to promote teaching excellence and enhance student learning. Requires a two-year commitment.
