The College periodically undertakes strategic planning on an institution-wide basis, often in conjunction with its New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC) reaccreditation reviews, which occur once a decade. The College is currently preparing for its next NEASC reaccreditation review, which will take place in April 2013.
The most recently adopted College-wide strategic plan, "Building a College of Distinction," covers the years 2011–2015. It outlines eight major initiatives that the College is currently pursuing. The committees included administrators, faculty and staff members, and undergraduate and graduate students.
