Ronald Ludman, Dean of Students
The Dean of Students oversees the Division of Student Affairs and provides strategic leadership for and supervises all areas of campus life including Athletics and Recreation, Campus Center, Career Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Disability Services, Health and Wellness, Housing and Residence Life, Multicultural Student Affairs and GLBTQ Services, New Student Orientation, Off-Campus Student Services, Spiritual Life, Student Activities and Student Conduct. As the Chief Student Affairs Officer, Ron advises the College on matters concerning student affairs, student life policies and procedures, and student services, programs and activities. Previously, Ron served in the capacities of Associate Dean of Students and Director of Career Services at Emerson.
Prior to arriving at Emerson, Ron was a Career Counselor at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. Ron holds a Ph.D. degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, and Educational Specialist and MS degrees in Counseling and Student Personnel Services and a BA degree in Psychology from the University at Albany - SUNY.
